This Work
whether in business, mentorship, writing, or service—isn’t about titles or accomplishments. It’s about helping others grow into who they were created to be. I’m grateful for the opportunity to do that work every day.
I was born in Sri Lanka and came to the United States in my early 20s with a hope and a desire to build a life rooted in purpose. My journey began in the corporate world, where I worked my way up to senior leadership in the automotive aftermarket. In 2007, during a global recession, I stepped out in faith to start Parts Life, Inc., pursuing a lifelong dream of business ownership.

Faith & Family

At the center of everything is my faith in God. It has shaped how I lead, how I serve, and how I see others. I believe every person was created with purpose—and it’s part of my calling to help people discover and live that out.
I’ve been married to my wife, Danilyn, for over 30 years.
We have five children who are each charting their own paths, and they continue to be my greatest joy and inspiration. Leading a family has taught me as much—if not more—than leading a company.
Today, I steward both Parts Life, Inc. and DeVal Lifecycle Support—companies that support the U.S. Department of Defense and aerospace systems across land, sea, undersea, air, and space. We specialize in reverse engineering, obsolescence management, and precision manufacturing of mission-critical components.
In 2017, I acquired DeVal Lifecycle Support, a company in Philadelphia that was on the verge of closing. I felt called to preserve the jobs, invest in the people, and rebuild something meaningful in inner-city Philadelphia. Since then, we’ve experienced over 400% growth, creating career pathways in high-skilled manufacturing while honoring our commitment to community and workforce development.
Through the SamT Network and SamT Foundation, I share what I’ve learned so others can rise in their own lives and leadership. These platforms serve individuals across the globe—especially those who feel like underdogs, or who are navigating unfamiliar cultures, industries, or transitions.

One of our key programs is the Micah Cricket Club, which offers youth in eight countries—including Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and India—a chance to learn life and leadership through the game of cricket. It’s just one way we help people build character and confidence—on and off the field.

Through our workforce initiatives, we provide opportunities such as English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, Financial literacy and life skills training, A first-time homeownership program, Help U Buy, Ongoing manufacturing and trade-skills development These efforts are about more than business. They’re about helping people step into stability, dignity, and potential.
"I believe leadership is stewardship—and that the most important investments we can make are in people. I believe we build business by building people, helping them rise to their potential. That belief guides how I shape and lead companies. It’s also why we’ve created programs for our employees to help them thrive.."
